The sharing principle

Use, don’t own

Customers already use book-n-use to share far more than parking spaces: tool cabinets and the tools inside them, meeting rooms and workspaces, or cargo bikes kept safe in a cycle locker. And the principle goes further: anything that can be controlled by a lock, a barrier or an interface can be shared with book-n-use, from equipment pools to robots. Individual resources become a shared offering that costs less, needs less space and is used more fully.

Frequently asked questions about book-n-use

book-n-use is a platform for reserving, booking and releasing parking spaces, EV chargers, cycle lockers and access points. Authorised users open barriers, smart parking barriers or gates by smartphone or PC – no access cards or fobs needed.

book-n-use runs as software as a service in the browser, with no software or apps to install. Everything is available as soon as your account is activated. Updates are automatic, and book-n-use monitors the devices and alerts you if one fails.

Yes. Parking spaces can be set to “private” and are then only visible to people who have received your access code. You decide on the days, times and maximum booking length.

No. The hardware and software scale from a single parking space to multiple sites. You can start small and expand step by step.

Yes. Through a JSON REST API, your existing applications – such as a citizen app, visitor management or EV charger management – can control book-n-use devices directly. This requires the WhiteLabel licence.
