Each of our cycle lockers has digital access control that is connected both to the lock of the locker and to our multi-tenant web portal. Permissions and user groups are set in the web portal, and each user books the times they want to store their bike through “their” link. On site, users unlock their cycle locker with their own smartphone, and the locker’s lock opens under digital control.
With book-n-use, the owner of a company or lease bike enjoys the convenience of a cycle locker that is guaranteed to be kept free and protects their valuable bike from wind, weather and vandals. They can also reserve time slots and operate the cycle locker themselves. For your company, the benefits are obvious: a secure cycle locker as an employee benefit increases staff satisfaction. In companies with partial or flexible home working in particular, costs are also saved because easily managed sharing reduces the number of bike spaces needed and the space they take up. The simple digital management runs largely automatically, and combined with book-n-use parking management, a complete parking concept with access control is easy to put in place. Our web portal also provides valuable, GDPR-compliant analytics for your corporate mobility management.
The standard equipment of our cycle lockers can be extended at any time with further components such as e-bike charging points. And of course any locker size is possible (at extra cost), e.g. for cargo bikes. Our cycle lockers are made in Germany, so they can be equipped to your exact requirements even at short notice.
Shared cycle stores are a cost-effective way to keep valuable bikes secure – in a company car park or at a mobility hub, such as a railway station with an attached commuter car park and cycle parking. We take care of access control and management with our hardware and software, but we do not build the shared cycle stores ourselves. Existing facilities can of course also be retrofitted to make them future-proof. book-n-use works in a similar way for car parks used flexibly: management and access control for all modes of transport are handled through our web portal, and on site our hardware controls the locking mechanisms of roller doors, barriers, doors, etc.
Setting up our smart cycle lockers covers hardware and software: delivery of the cycle lockers (but not assembly) and installation and wiring of the required control units. Any foundation work and the provision of power supplies are not included. On the software side, you are given access to our web portal; the effort here varies depending on the solution you want and how it is integrated into existing systems, administrative processes or operator apps (one example is the myAudi app). Service includes operating the web portal and the control units needed on site – for example, the independent internet connection that links them to the web portal. Expert monitoring is also part of the service.
